Hi to all on the forum, I take delivery of an 2007 Avensis 2.2 d4d T-Spirit 150 on 9th March after having a 1993 1.6 carina-e for the last 3 years which was our second car, very high mileage but not a bit of trouble so I am hoping the new one will serve me well. I also have an 11 year old Mitsubishi 1.6 carisma glx which i have had since it was 6 mths old. I maintain all my cars myself and like the carina I have had no problems at all with the carisma, is it the Jap cars or my maintenance? I am a qualified mechanic on trucks/cars but moved over to forklift trucks quite a few years ago doing many courses on electronic control systems and hydraulics.
