aparently there is a fequency that you can play through subs that will instantly make you ill ..

Heard about another that makes it a hit with the girlies ..

Just don't get them mixed up ..

lookin nice m8, could you not angle the top of the sub box so u could get the seat to sit further back? or would that ruin the sound quality?

the problem is with the sub depth .. you can slide the seat forward, to get the angle better .. but it's actually not bad. I'm 6'4" (mainly in the legs) and I fit nicely ..

Just got a few weeks of "bedding in" now ..

How does it sound bibbs? I built a box and had a 10" RF sub in it

but it didnt sound that great (badly built box!) so i took it out.

Can you give me the sizes of yours so i can do it properly!

Mine is a rev one so i only have one factory sub and its nearly dead!

the old system sounded the !Removed! .. I've not cranked this up yet, it needs to be eased in ..

You need to use really high quality products to get the best sound ..

for normal cars a 15" sub in a box will not sound that much different if you spend £50 or £250 .. but in the MR2 caust the Speakers are all so close to you, you need to use quality.

Hence my Alpine/Phonex Gold/JL Audio selection ..

Cheers mate, ive just drawn it up and i'll give it a bash tomorrow,

hopefully with a bit more success!

All the bits im using are pretty good, its a Rockord fosgate 10" sub

and all the cables are phoenix gold with gold terminals

So it should sound pretty good once set up.

I actually think the box could be smaller ..

Have you looked at the specs for your Sub?

I think mine needs to be 22 liters .. but then again I've wadded the box too ..

Theres no specs on the sub but i had two of them in a box in my last car and they sound excellent.

The box i built was much slimmer than the one you made and it made

the sub sound terrible so hopefully there wont be much difference in our

sub specs.

The Stock spec for the 10W3v2-D4 is 17.7 liters ..

18" x 11" x 9" = 1782

Where mine is

18" x 13" x 14" / 2 = 1638

So it's not quite big enough .. but it's packed with wadding, so hopefully that will compensate ..

How are you coverting your inches to litres? 'cos I think you got your numbers wrong. Approximately, 18" is 45.7cm, 11" is 28cm and 9" is 23cm so that equates to 29,430.8 cubic centimetres or 29.4 litres. your 18" x 13" x 14"/2 is 45.7 x 33 x 35.5/2 or 26.77 litres.

Your figures are cubic inches you need to mulyiply the by 0.0163 to get litres.

Well the 17.7 litres and the 18"x 11" x 9" is off the spec card and the suggested closed box size .. Don't tell me, tell JL :)

I was just comparing their suggested to my current ..
