Hi,

Anyone know if these changes will apply to Prius here in the UK?

http://hybridscoop.com/article/2006_toyota..._semi-confirmed

I notice they have gone with the option of a rear view camera and not parking sensors? Not sure if the camera is a good thing or not compared to sensors? Btw, sensors are not a factory option currently are they - just dealer retro-fit?

HI;

I did notice the black square in some of the pictures of the latest brochure, ansd wondered if they were going to do a camera. would be nice if it could be used for normal driving as well, as rear-view mirror is rubbish view.

sensors are retro fit, but my dad (he's the one with the prius, I only get to drive it sometimes:( ) can't hear them LOL as he's 73 and a bit deaf from his flying days.

some more colours and leather would be nice.

wish i could afford one yummy

Hi,

According to the salesman at our local Toyota dealership (who we've known for a number of years/cars) he hasn't had any news on a new Prius and isn't expecting a new one in Europe until 2007.

However he did say that there was a new Rav4 on the way very soon which may have a hybrid option! Wonder what the mpg on that would be!
