OK, so how many other unfortunate tsport owners have these lights coming on? at the last count I've been back to the dealer ten times with this fault, they are nice people, and try hard to find the problem, but I'm getting a bit ****** off with it now! I URGENTLY need to hear from other CTS owners with the same fault, HELP!!!

email me at yokel@email2me.net with your tale of woe!

dude i had the same problem!!! You buy your car from pioneer park? Ask for Stephen, he was the guy who gave me this fix

Get the car on flat piece of road, put the steering wheel dead straight. Unhook the Battery for about 30 minutes, this will reset and re-calibrate the vsc amongst other things. You'll hear a funny grrr'ing when you first reconnect the Battery, this is normal should only last a few seconds. You'll lose the radio settings etc and need to reset the dash brightness. But your vsc thing should fix itself.

Search the forum for VSC TRC and you'll get a few topics.

Thanks for that, yes, I did get it from pioneer park, and if you see Stephan he is now bald from pulling his hair out! they have tried everything and are now considering replacing the wiring loom! Even Toyota technical can't help any more, the latest bullitin says the Avensis has the same fault. I hope to establish that this is a design fault and get a refund!

I had this problem. After switching the engine off and then on again they would reset but after a couple of times of this happening I took the car back to my dealer and they replaced the ecu. The ECU they put in was a later one and was marked on the job sheet as "replaced with modified ECU" so I guess this may be a known problem.

Me too

My ecu was not replaced, but from my failing memory "something" on one of the front wheels was... Warning light hasn't come on since

Mines an 02 cts, out of warranty, would be keen to know if still happening on newer models, as may well be design fault

You thought Toyota were bad.... wait til you're sorting out warranty problems with your Golf! I've two cousins working for VW and they say they are absolute heaps of sh#*e! And why have a T Sport in the first place if you think the GT TDi is a comparative car??? The T Sport doesn't sound like a box of spanners jangling about on tick over :P

Most (note I didn't say ALL) T Sport owners are happy with their car bar a few niggly problems which ALL new cars do. They bought a T Sport because it does what they want it to do... tame 90% of the time and bonkers when you want it to be, the other 10%, so if that's not what you need, then by all means buy a TDi Golf... I'm sick of people who moan so much about a car they chose to buy in the first place
