I have had my headunit for five years and its time for an upgrade

I need two RCA

four channels

good quality sound

name of the head unit is important, so no JVC, goodmans etc

the headunit should be able to read MP3 320 kbits and read from CDRW

wouldnt mind having DAB built in

please list your suggestions below

I can vouch for the last one as it's the same one that I have in my car. Can play VBR MP3's and i've had it play up to 256 kbps MP3. Why you'd want anymore than that is beyond me. Very easy to scroll through the files, and it also displays the ID3 tags. Has some nice screensavers as well. Overall it's a lovely bit of kit. Then again the alpine and clarion one i listed are also very nice, one of my mates ahs the clarion one

Price range is around £250

The higher kbits the higher the sound quality, if you listen to raw audio then a MP3, you will notice the MP3 sounds crap

I would be good if there is a headunit which will automatically amp up the quieter sounds from the MP3 just like my home DAB radio does

It is faster than you think, not sure on what my top speed is. But the track record was 18.99 sec and I got 20.20sec, I might have been able to go faster but I was held back by another driver

Its all work related, at my interview I was told that I would be expected to travel in europe. We just go where ever the customers are. Cant just ask them to sail to the UK. Dont really have time to see much as I work for long hours
