They are very cheap and cheerful, IMHO I would use a Hankook, Firestone or similar. Kingo thumbsup.gif

I am currently using a full set of Barums on my escort (still not got my T-Sport as Lister's are messing me about in regards to my finance!), and I think they are alright! My tracking was out on my escort and I ruined a front set of verdersteins. My back tyres were worn anyway, so i got a full set of Barums from Selecta Tyre.

I haven't noticed much of a difference between the two. They have good grip and have good stopping distances (I often slam on the breaks in town at night after going out DJing, due to the number of drunk people trying to play with the traffic). They are wearing nicely, I've noticed a bit of a drop in tread depth over the past 3 months, a lot more than the verdersteins, but acceptable for the price they are.

I would go for verde's next time, but Barum are a good budget tyre. Just for reference agains the price you're paying, I got mine for £45 each, not on sale.

All in with the puncture insurance I think it's about £75 - then again they are only 13's on my old faithfull renault workhorse.
