Wheel Aligning

Gents,

I will be greatfull for your second opinion on this subject.

I have a T180 with mounted TMS lowering springs

I have expercienced some different stearing behavoure between left & right (fast) cornering.

In right cornering , the car is more over-steared (almost tricky), then in a left corner.

When i measured the Camber of the rearwheels, I messured on the left side 1,75 and Right 1.25 both negative.

I contacted my dealer for a appointment to get the wheels aligned.

I asked him which Camber a T180 should have with mounted TMS lowering springs ( car 3 cm lower).

His answer was that there is no different Camber setting ???

So can you guyz help me with:

A: Does anyone agree with me that the Camber will change after by mounting lowering springs on a T180 ?

B: What is the standard camber setting of a standard T180 ?

C: What in your opinion should be a good Camber setting (between 0-3) for a lowered T180? cause i think my dealer has no clue & will set my camber to standard( point 2)

On the 8th of October I will give you all feedback after a trackday on Zandvoort(NL) with first-hand experience B)

Thanks in advance.

when i put lowering springs on my auris, i just had to adjust the toe in, not the camber.

but i`m not sure if it is the same suspension on 180 as on the other auris`s?

The T180 has independent rear suspension.

This this different then all other Auris models by my knowledge.

Ok,

My camber of the rearside has been set now to 1.75 negative on both sides & 1.00 on the front side.

I will give it a try on the road and keep on posting the experiences here.

Cause i am planning to experiment some more with the settings to get some experience with the settings versus cornering, can someone supply me with the lisitng of the standard setting of camber, caster, toe-in/out of the T180 ?

Thanks in advance.
