Gen 7 Lift Issue

I can't hit lift in my 01 GTS. I've heard that snapped lift bolts are a pretty typical culprit in this situation, but my manual doesn't mention "lift bolts" anywhere in it's pages! is "lift bolt" just jargon? if so what are they really called and where can I find them!!!???

cheers

In the UK, Toyota call them Camshaft Flange Bolts.

hahaha, the foreign subtitles threw me for a second...

I took these pictures to my local toyota dealership and showed them to the guy behind the parts counter and he seemed to think that those were rocker bolts.... and that I'd have to replace the whole unit for $350!!! :ffs:

does this seem outrageous?

is this straight up WRONG??

...are the lift bolts/camshaft flange bolts really rocker bolts too???

...I'm so confused...
