Hi all,
I'm hoping that someone out there can help on this matter. I've recently started using my 1994 Previa GX RHD for the first time in quite awhile (been away for a long time with work) and noticed that the wheel on the Passenger side is looking almost completely bald on the outside edge with the rest of the tyre tread nearly untouched. now I'm aware that it's most likely the wheel alignment but having worked on numerous Rally cars in my time with fully adjustable systems but my Previa has me stumped, i must admit. to make things a wee bit worse i recently came across an article claiming that the uneven wear on the wheel could be caused my damper (shock) failure, if this is so is it a common fault? So all in all I'm asking 2 question to which i pray someone can assist me with: 1) How do i go about adjusting the wheel alignment on the front wheels of my Previa? 2) Can the uneven wear be caused my the failure of the front Dampers (shocks)? (i assume this is a pretty easy task to carry out but just thinking financially lol) I do hope and pray that there is someone out there that can shine some light on these subjects. Thanks in advance (I hope) |
