Does anyone remember this thing on Tomorrows World years ago that was a tyre inflator with an air bag attached to it that you could use as a jack?

I was looking for a replacement inflator when I stumbled across a reference to it, but can't seem to find one anywhere!

Yeah i remember that topic as well.
Like a big balloon under the car, and blow it up and lifts the car up.

If you do a search on google, under "air car jack" you will find a few results, and somewhere might even sell them too

Yeah, I had done that at the time, but all I found were 'real' pneumatic air jacks (i.e. the things they use to lift your car up in actual garages blink.gif ) and this thing made by Draper and a couple other companies, which is basically a bag that connects to your exhaust and uses exhaust pressure to inflate the bag and lift up the car, rather than an air compressor.

By the looks of things, it seems the airjack I'm looking for doesn't actually exist; I guess the guy couldn't secure funding to develop/sell the thing sad.gif
This sucks because he has a patent on it, so if he doesn't make any we might never see one because nobody else can make one until the patent expires!

For anyone curious, there's an article here which gives a bit more info: http://www.innovations-report.de/html/beri...icht-13204.html

The inventor's name is "Leeroy Brown" and the widgit's called the "Airjack 2000" for further Googling smile.gif
