I'm selling a 12month old Chip Kit for a Yaris 1.4 D-4D.

Gives around a 20% increase in power; this is very noticeable from 2krpm onwards. Pick-up at motorway speed is good. Engine seemed smoother.

I had it on the car from new and had no problems; no smoke, very smooth. When I took if off the car the difference was noticeable. More revs required when accelerating, a drop is mpg and slightly rougher engine noise, lack of pull on inclines.

Mpg dropped approx from 55mpg to 51mpg.

This is a quality item; box is alunimium (or looks like it) and has the connectors for the MY2008. Be aware the proceeding MY had different connectors for the fuel rail transducer.

Looks like new.

Takes 15minutes max to connect up; you just located the fuel rail transducer connector and swap the connections. No need for a power feed from battery.

I have the original instructions but no pictures of the unit in situ. Cost £350 brand new.

Reason for selling: I sold the car so have no need of the unit anymore.
