Here's a list of the commands for reference. Anything in green is what you say. There are also some generic ones like "Go back" and "Cancel" but those aren't listed in the command list

Hi OvertheHill,

I see there is some additions to the voice commands i.e ATM, bookstore, etc. The voice recognition on the prius 2 was abysmal can you tell me if it is any better on the generation 3 (mind you we did have a laugh with some of the voice commands say golf club and got Chinese restaurant.

So far I've not tested it extensively but it's not failed to recognise me yet and I guess I have a bit of a northern accent. I certainly haven't tried the whole list of POI commands because I rarely use POI's

Thanks for the quick response OvertheHill, so I might stand a chance with my cockney accent then!

Hi I have found that if the fan is on high it can sometimes confuse the voice commands

That's what she said!

Also, you should try asking it for a Brothel. The T180's Satnav ( I assume its similar) brings up the motorway services.... I guess they do give you a good shafting, so it's not entirely being silly wink.gif

It's a shame you can't use voice activation to tell the satnav where you want to go.

On modern Mercs, even C-classes, you can just say "Navigation".. "Newbury".. and it'll find it and ask you for a road name, which you then say aloud.

Nearly but not quite for Toyota.

A roll over from the Gen II that works on the new model - say "I'm hungry" and see what happens - LOL

I always show that one to friends and it makes them laugh
