Thanks Ian I am sure I will enjoy the car. I heard a rumour that the sat nav could be set while driving. I can take your point but that is disregarding if there is a passenger in the car that can do it.

Hi I will try changing sat nav on move the owners manual is not clear on it .The Gen 2 manual was explicit on no change to the sat nav when moving seems a backward step to me.Tried it today bit like trying to text while driving not recommended

HI STOMPE

i can confirm that in my opinion the LED pack is excellent, i collected my t-spirit in tyrol with led pack last wednesday and i have clocked up over 250 miles since and it is truly amazing. on a 200 mile journey yesterday it returned an average of 70.9 mpg.
the led lamps are really clear at night, and the rain repellent glass does work when you are moving.

1 thing that i have found out though is that when the h/lamps are on auto and i set off in the mornings they come on and the sat nav screen does not go into night mode, but stays in day mode illumination, but when they come on at night (dark) it does go into night mode (maybe some owners can confirm this on a non led model).

as for the satnav being set whilst on the move the answer is YES that is true.
in fact the only thing you cannot do is access the dash settings menu, everything else is editable.
hope this helps.

Hi the Sat nav on my Tspirit will not dim if the headlights are turned on during the day as when I enter my garage but when the car is half in the garage it dims, must be on a light sensor

just to clarify you cannot change the sat nav route while moving !!! that is not good for me even though it seems dangerous which i suppose it is but i often will revise my destination due to work comitments while on the move ??

often on a motorway and want to revise my destination and if i have to come off and stop to do this it is not good, in my current Audi A6 i can do whatever i want on the move.

if true this is the first piece of bad news ?

Sorry if I was not clear in my answer, while driving you can revise destination but you will get to hospital before your destination
