their is 3 bolts you need to slacken to adjust the alternator belt two on the adjuster think 12mm and one 14mm down the bottom.also does your car have power steering??that belt could need adjusting too.

Not quite sure of the sizes and if imports are diff then US Spec(Mines US Spec), but 3 bolts like above said. To get to the top one(which allows is to slide freely) open the engine bay reach down and feel with your hand in the very back corner of the engine back for a bolt right under the timing cover about a wrist down... VERY hard to see but not that hard to feel. Kinda gotta go in blind with the wrench from above. You just gotta loosen it a little. The 2nd one you have to loosen is under the car holding the Alternator in... its on the bottom of the alt, cant miss it. Loosen that bolt. Now your alternator should be able to tighten and loosen freely if youve loosend them enough AND its not stuck. Now you have a quide bolt in a mounted bracket on the alternator(has 2 bolts to to hold it on and then the 3rd is your alternator adjust bolt). I have to reach my arm around my exhaust to get to it. You can see it the bracket if looking from rear to front of your car. Cant remember which of the 3 bolts it is but if you feel the side for a long bolt with threads, you hit the right one. Be careful not to try and use the adjust bolt with the other 2 not loosened of you'll strip the adjust bolt ;-) Your going to need to bend back the plastic shielding on the bottom to get a wiggle on the belt. Theres 2 bolts holding that on... at least to enough where you can pull it back. Well... Wish i had some pics. Really not that hard... but took me a real while my first time. Good Luck. Hope this helps lemme know how it goes.
