I think this also applies to parking tickets, running a red light
and so on. All of those are very easily done with an Aygo...

I don't agree on the fact that your government is even thinking about
this, but as I'm not a UK resident I will not be signing the petition...

We have our own problems here in Ireland. The minister for transport wants to reduce the blood alcohol limit from 80mg to 50mg, but a bunch of his party colleagues are resisting the change, claiming it will destroy the social lives of many rural people. One of them even claimed that if they couldn't drive to the pub, drink alcohol and drive home, then there would be more suicides due to depression! What a bunch of t*ssers we have in government

I can believe the interviews people gave opposing compulsory wearing of front seatbelts. They said it would "destroy the romance of driving". Personally, faceplanting the windscreen isn't very romantic
