Just taken over my daughters Rav 4 and it runs with the warning light on all the time, I had it read at a non toyota garage and Code P2238 comesup.Main toyota dealer has "never heard of it"
An American web site, www.allexperts.com says it is a 80K warranty item, again no joy at Dealer.
Anyoe know anything about this

Hi , and welcome to the club. P2238 on my Autel software says O2 sensor positive current control circuit Low Bank 1 Sensor 1. Petrol ones generally fail after several years , could be the top right hand one looking in the engine. Quite a few threads about O2 sensors if that's what it is.
