Hi people i only bought this care a few months ago but am wanting to replace the cd player with an aftermarket one to be precise the pioneer DEH-P7100BT looking at the existing stereo it looks rounded at the bottom and also not sure if the sat nav will keep working can anyone help

does any aftermarket stereo fit in my car, and does anyone know hoe to remove my old one and install new one

Hi Dave,

It will, but you will need a facia plate & wiring loom.

Below is a link to Ebay for a set of them. I just ordered a set, which should be with me in the next couple of days. Link to it below:

but the hole in my dash does not look big enough to put that facia in and keep the satnav, or do i remove both the satnav and cd player and that facia fills the whole gap.

Dave,

It will fit.

It only takes up the space used for the CD player at the bottom. Your sat nav & the trip computer will still work.

now i was told if i buy the stalk adaptor i dont need to buy a loom its all in the stalk adaptor is this true and if so i was going to get this

Dave,

You will still need the loom, as the adaptor is a seperate lead, as far as I have found on other sites.

I would also phone dynamic sounds about the PIONEER DEH-P7100BT & patch lead, just to make sure it will works with the steering wheel controls & they can also advise if the loom is seperate or not.

Post what you decide to do & how it went fitting it in to place,if you go for it.

I have just been a little cheeky and rang another place about the stereo who said it will work with a steering adaptor im going to buy it all now ill update when i have more news cheers Marv
