Well I took a quick trip down to Charlett Tyres just outside Oxford this evening and now have 2x new Pirelli P6000's on the rear and all 4 tyres balanced, fronts running at 32PSi and rears at 36PSI...

I didn't realize quite how bad the last set were until they came off, they were defo illegal (just as well only used on private roads :D)...

My car once again feels superb....

All for £203.

Thats not a bad price to have that done. Did you get discount from them?

The front should be cheaper when you have them done. I do believe that the front tyres are smaller on the MR2.

Still once you are racing around wales again you will be back again for a new set :D

Yeah that was with discount....

Had the front's done just before xmas, the garage downstairs stopped selling tyres a good couple of months ago so I managed to pick up 2x Goodyear NCT 5's 'W rated' for £20, fitted at Kwik-Sh!t for £5, fronts last ages, am expecting rears will only last about 10-12k....
