Hey

I have a 1993 Jap Import MKII (Automatic). Since I do not have the car manual, there are a few I am not sure about.

On the gearbox, there there are three buttons: Manual, Power and also a small red button with no label....what are these for? I believe they have something to do with "ECT-S" on the revs gauage.

Also, which Automatic Tranmission Fluid should I be using?

Sorry if this is reallllly daft quetions but is it a Celica by any chance????????????

Manual is normal Auto.
Power holds to the redline more.
The red button is to get the shifter moving if the ignition is not on.

And when I asked the same question about the AT fluid I was told that it doesent matter as long as it is TA fluid.

Sorry just noticed it is in the MR2 forum so I am guessing its an MR2. Which in that case I will leave you in the capable hands of Bibbs.

not that many autos about.. infact apart from my old one I have never seen one!
