Sadly I have to sell this MR2, my favourite car I've ever owned. sad.gif
I need a car that can tow a trailer with a rally car on it and sadly the MR2 doesn't fit the bill.
So without further ado or bitterness, here's the spec:

1988 E-reg
134k
1.6 16V 127bhp
White (bodywork is in exceptional condition)
T-bar roof (seals recently replaced so fully watertight!)
Black leather interior (nice condition)
15" 5 spoke alloys
Twin 3" Janspeed exhaust (manifold and back box)
JVC head unit and 12 disc CD changer
Full service history (very well maintained car)
Was bought from another Toyota enthusiast who took good care of her, too
MOT to end June 2005
Tax to End June 2005

I bought it at 127k and have since only had to replace an oil sensor gasket. She runs beautifully.
Just fitted 2 new tyres on the rear and new rear brake pads (last week).

Ok...now I've convinced myself.....I think I'll keep it!
But alas, I need to tow so she's gotta go.

1700 GBP buys you this fine example of the best Roadster Toyota ever made.

It's an absolute gem, mate.
Don't rub it in!
Really don't want to see it go!

I saw this car on Saturday at the Rally.
It is a good example, although I think it needs a bit of a wash to get it looking like the photo tongue.gif biggrin.gif

I am very tempted to sell the rolla for it... (It can also tow you know... wink.gif )
Fizz
go on Mr G... you know Mr G would be better suited to such a damn fine example of a Mk1 Mr2!!!

nice car mate...
Spratty
Ta mate.

I've absolutely loved owning it. It's such a raw driver's car, it's great.

Thankfully no one has made an offer yet so I get to keep it for a while longer! wink.gif

You haven't advertised for very long mate... Someone will be along shortly.

Besides did I mention the corolla can tow quite well? tongue.gif

No worries mate. Thanks for the spec, but I've found a Mazda 626 that I might go for.

Mr G..........you need to upgrade the Corolla......I have just the thing! wink.gif
Spratty
Hey folks.

She's still for sale and is going on the Autotrader site this week.
Thought I'd give you an early start.
The Autotrader price will be 1700.
However, if a forum member is interested, I'd let you have her for 1600. Would be good to see her go to a Toyota enthusiast.

Just valeted today, looking lovely.

Looks like a great MK1 mate. I'd have it off you if I didn't already have a pair of 'em!
Spratty
Hello again folks,

I'm still reluctant to sell this baby but am coming to terms with the fact that owning 3 cars is a bit excessive!

Hence, 1500 GBP buys you this little vixen of a motor.

Sent you a PM matey - How does the prospect of it going to a toyota enthusiast and employee sound?
