I am on the verge of buying a Starlet turbo which has these terrible14" wheels!! Could anyone recommend the best size after-market alloys for pure driving-I'd rather have 15" and great handling than 17" and great looks; But maybe i could have both.............

If you'd rather have fifteens and great handling then put fifteens on.

I think 50s are the correct profile for fifteens and if you want sixteen’s you need 40 profile tyres; seventeen’s will fit but will need a bit of work. Whatever size you get you’ll need to lower it because the standard heights just to high.

Tell me about it........I think it's on stilts not springs!! I've had a few quotes around the £400 pound mark for 4x15" fitted and around £500 for the same but with tyres that will actually grip the road?! Just gotta sell my 535i now to seal the deal!
