Jimlad

Yarisboy
I know my opinion doesn't matter much, but why oh why would you want to change the beautiful sleek lines of the mr2? :(
Jimlad
I want something different.. something that not that many people have.... IE ... the TRD widebodykit.
JappyBeast
Think you will have to spend on this one Jimlad, you dont want a duff looking one like that Yellow one in CRD.

Bet it will cost over £2000 to fit it also..

You could buy a Rev3 tubby for the price your gonna have to spend.

Not getting a Supra anymore?
shaf2000
OY!!!

stop stealing my thunder. im gonna be the trd boy okey... this place aint big enuff for the both of us :P

ok, if you are serious. you could source a replica kit from the states for about 1k... but fitting might be a touch difficult.
Rookey
Fitting + Painting is just shy of £1900 and that was from my personal friend back in my painting days! I did have a deposit on a TRD kit, but when I looked into how long it would take me to afford the fitting etc I gave up, of course I lost the deposit also! Ill have a dig around for the guy's number again. He was a genuine guy I used to deal with in my old company, he was building a TRD MR2 as a show car, but because of the fitting again, he chose another kit. It was imported from Japan, original as I saw pics of the TRD emblem, and it was £1400.

And shaf, a little off topic but i cant be ars*d to PM!lol I cant find the Drift bible, think I may have lent it out after so many times of watching it, I'll have an ask around dude! sorry!

Dave!

that CRD one wasn't a TRD widebody kit... it was something else.

there's a guy called Paul someone in the US who managed to fit it himself. Surely can't be that difficult ??

I'll get a quote for somewhere to fit and paint a complete bodykit... then give them the TRD one... watch them cry... lol.

Shaff.... I am serious mate.. won't be until early next year though.
JappyBeast
I bet neither of you get a TRD kit!
Jimlad
lol....

can't say for defo.. knowing me... lol

will either get it... do mad engine work... or this time next year I might not even have a mr2... lol.

who knows !
ricomr2

I don't grow money trees like everyone thinks... lol.
John R
But you might grow plants for money....
Jimlad
lmao....

in my shared garden that actually doesn't have any grass ??

or in my house somewhere ?? ... lol

wouldn't even know how to start mate..... lol.
ricomr2
Did you get anymore prices for the kit mate?
Jimlad
£2K was the cheapest UK seller if a replica kit I could find.

Might be cheaper from the US... but if there's issues with it etc, I wouldn't like to try and send it back. Plus import tax etc might be massive... also the price of shipping it across.

Might work out cheaper getting it from the UK ?
EmR2T
I am not the biggest fan of bodykits but must admit if done well and chosen well they can look great.

oooh... much cheapness.

How much is shipping costing you?
Jimlad
I've got a question... what's so hard about fitting the TRD kit ??

Front and rear bumpers... reasonably easy to do... skirts.. same.

So what's left ? Simply the front and rear wings.
ricomr2
Wait till you see the dvd mate, its a massive job to do properly
Jimlad
cool... look forward to watching it.. am quite curious.

I'll use it as a step by step guide to install it myself..... lol
ricomr2
Now that would be a laugh

I'm going to put it on now actually
Jimlad
C'mon... I've got some tools... and erm....

Jimlad
