When im looking at purchasing JDM parts for my '86, i quite often come across the wording:

Kouki????? (My redlines were sold with this name in the title!)

Zenki???? :huh:

Does it stand for something in japanese?????

Any help would be appriciated! :D

(donig my head in not knowing what it means!) And if you lot no any more strange wording please tell me! ;)

kouki = early.
zenki = late.
basically they mean before and after the model update.

Uhh no. Its the opposite.

Zenki means early spec, or early model.
Chuki means a middle revision or middle model.
Kouki means late spec or late model.

Its not car specific, ie just AE86, all cars will use this wording in Japan.
