I have the solution for the poor opening angle restriction of the rear doors on the post 2000 model ravs.
You cannot purchase this part from UK main dealers .This is a genuine Toyota part that can be retrofitted to allow the rear door to open to its full 90 degrees.
No longer does the door fall shut when parked on a slope and larger items can be easily loaded in the rear.
I have the parts in stock at £75 including postage.
It takes approx 15 minutes to fit for even the most modest of home mechanics.
Available also on ebay.

When i quoted the USA part number 68650-42040 , the parts guy was gone for some time, and came back with a price of £56.85 + vat.

Got mine from [b]sparkydog[/b] by return of post.

Most difficult and time consuming part of fitting is removal of trim. Once trim removed fitting of new part only takes 5 mins.

Door now opens to two positions, the first is same as original, second fully open.
