Looking for some help on buying a Prado?

The import scene is fairly new to me and looking at one of these to primarily tow a caravan and secondly have fun off-road.


Looked at a 91 model today with 90,000 kms price is £5k looks OK drives well etc, new import so not yet registered in UK. Are there any major pitfalls I should be aware of before buying and do they suffer the same cambelt problems of Pajero's?

No problem with cambelts, providing its changed on schedule but the diesels can suffer from cracked heads!
