are the 2s brakes the same for UK and Jap spec, my rear pads are shot and need swapping pretty sharpish

I think so mate.. for example a rev3 UK brake parts will be the same as a rev3 Jap.

Why not just go into a car shop and say you're looking for pads for a 199* Mr2 turbo.

Sutton Auto Spares always have the goods for our rev 4 Turbo, so you shouldn't have any problems getting them.

Just go in and tell em you have a turbo and they'll make sure you get the right parts. There's no need to do the uk/import thing, they have it covered.
