Full Version: Can A Buckled Alloy Be Repaired

After an argument with a kerb, one of the alloys has a slight buckle. Is this repairable by any method or do you throw it away.

Yes it can be repaired.

Look up wheels repair in yellow pages or something.

I woulkd personally NOT repair it, -replace it. for safety!

Depends how bad the buckle is in the wheel. Outer face and inner rim can make a difference to wether or not the company WILL repair it or not. try Spit and Polish, or look in the back of car mags for alloy wheel refurbishers and such like. usually range from about 40 quid upwards.

In the end I found 4 replacement wheels on ebay for £200 so if anyone needs 1 slightly buckled and 3kerbed 10 spoke 17s wheels please make me an offer
