Finally i went for the test drive.

Placed an order immediately for T-spirit. Delivery in 1-2 weeks. Some of the colors would take 4 months for delivery.

But luckily, i was going for silver one and they said that would take only one to two weeks.

Can someone enlighten me regarding supagaurd treatment please. Sounded good and paid for that too.

I had gone with an intention to place an order if it is available soon. So, that was the reason to place an order immediately.

Hi, I bought supagard when I ordered my black t3 - a mate whose opinion I trusted said he'd wished he'd had supagard on his black car (an audi), and so I took the chance...

£250 seems a lot - and to be honest, the 'specialist' shampoo/cleaning kit bag that you get with it does feel a little gimicky and aimed at those who againise over every aspect of their car (hey, like me! :-)

However, my neighbour who's in the furniture trade reckons that these surface upholstery treatments do work as advertised and dramatically reduce staining and make cleaning a lot easier.

I guess if it works as advertised, I'll never really be able to tell. I think it's worth haggling for it to be thrown in, or if you're already getting a decent discount, go for it - 250 quid against a 17/18k car is marginal, even if the true cost of supagard should probably be lower.

It would be interesting to know whether you can get the same level of protection by spending 50 quid on cleaning/polishing products in halfords and manually apply with afternoon's worth of effort, though!
