They are smart yeah - its a great phone, got loads of features n stuff - half of them I've never used! lol
I'm a bit of a gadget freak - I like to have new ones all the time - I get bored of toys after a while and need a new one of entertain me!

That's what mine did! It just stopped working overnight... 
I've tried everything to resuscitate it - taken the front off and cleaned it out with compressed air, cleaned all the contacts - that sort of thing. Dunno what happened - it was just sitting on the ironing board
