Full Version: How To Replace A Tire

About a year ago I curbed the rim nice and bad, causing it to bounce at certain speeds. Luckily its a steel rim. I just bought a pair of 14" rims off someone for dirt cheap, but the tires that are on them are bald. The ones on my current rims are good to go for a long while, so I need to move them to the new rims.

What would I need to replace the tires, tool wise? Is it worth it, or should I just go to a tire place and have them do it (and probably cost me $50). Can't find anything on google, just keeps sending me to sites showing how to replace flat tires...

Any ideas?

Go to your local tire dealer and ask them how much it will cost for them to change the tires over.. in the UK this costs between £5 and £10 per tire. Buying the tools you would need will cost you quite a bit more.
