This car was the Coupe version of the KE70 for those of you who dont know...
2T engine, the Coupe version before the AE86 Corolla 4A-GE came out...

Im from czech rep and I have this car, the GT version with 2TG engine. I have it for two years, no problem, only changing the oil and sparks... the best car I ever had...

I can order carroserie parts in czech and some staff on engine, but trouble is to get lights (I need small corner light, cannot find anywhere..) and windows...

Do you know, where to order proper suspension set (sport)?

I had one of these cars in 1986 , it was bought new in Germany by a squaddie in 1983 (Hence the Q plate) , even back in the 1980's these were very rare cars , Toyota had problems getting parts for me and although i saw a couple of other SR coupes on the road i never saw one the same as mine.

Franczz - you say you can order carroserie parts in Chech and some engine staff - can you write which ones??!! I need to replace some of them and will be 100% interested

I think I can get you the corner lamp - I should have a spare one but can't remember which side - let me klnow which one you need.
For supension - I'm missing only new springes - polipropylene gums I've impoerted from US. Will let you know which brand after finding their box.

I've got one of those... in the US, they were AE71 in 1983, because they used rack and pinion steering, AND the 4AC engine.


I'm doing a pretty extensive build on it at this time as well. 4AG injected engine, Miata 6 speed, AE86 custom suspension.

Right now I'm looking for a non US speedometer... US speedometer goes to 85mph/140kph, there were/are other speedometers available. One of which I believe is a Uk item, for it reads speeds in mph and kph. At this point, I don't need mph, so even if you have a kph speedometer, I'm interested!!!

My US speedometer with 9k tach fitted, but a LAME POS 85 speedo

Nice car !! (early spec one like mine with the same wheels) Ive just located a set of wings (fenders) for mine, they are not the UK spec wherby the indicator lights are on the trim as opposed to ours are normally centre top on the wing (fender).

I'm from Sri Lanka, and just saw a rusty coupe for sale........

Its a 1500cc SR. Any idea what that engine would be ?

We have a lot of KE 70 wagons here and parts for those are available. If any of those fit I will try and help in any way I can, guys so let me know.

The car I am thinking of buying ( Specially after seeing the super machines on this thread) has a cracked left rear tail light cluster. Any idea if I can get one ?
