Yes, another first for TOC's most incompetent modder: buying wheels that don't fit laugh.gif

These are Yaris (older model) 14in alloys from the Toyota parts catalogue, number PZ474-D0670-ZJ. The exact details are 14x5.5, et 45 as you can see from the photos below.

Looks like these weren't manufactured by Toyota, but were made in Italy by Fondmetal.

They come with nuts and centre caps.

I bought these thinking they would be good for the Aygo, but it turns out to be tricky to get bolts (which the Aygo uses) to match the nuts used by every other Toyota. Don't get me started on a stud conversion either!

These are absolutely mint and still boxed. From Toyota, you would be paying about £108 per wheel, like I did sad.gif

Welcome to make me an offer before these end up on Ebay.

Why dont the wheels fit??

You just need to buy a set of bolts. If theyre bolts, surely the original ones would work?

The Aygo uses conical bolts. These Yaris wheels use standard Toyota shank wheel nuts with a flat face and washer. It turns out to be impossible to find a shank bolt which would match up to a normal Toyota wheel.

I've tried a stud conversion, but the studs I found were too long and the Toyota dealer I normally go to wasn't prepared to grind them down to try and make them fit. I also noticed that the stud conversion, even with lightweight alloy nuts, would have been heavier than the steel bolts the Aygo uses. Toyota have done a pretty good job of getting the wheel assembly weight down, so I thought I would probably aim for a set of custom lightweight wheels instead of the stock steel ones.

These wheels are 6.6kg each, which isn't bad at all but I would think it is possible to get lighter competition rims at this size.

This all started because nobody makes track tyres which will fit on the stock Aygo rims!

They are still available, but as a last resort I am hopefully trying some TTE bolts from Germany tomorrow (Saturday). Let you know the outcome.

It's ok! Halleluiah praise the Lord! A solution has been found and I will post pics on the Aygo forum once I get the tyres fitted.

Thank you for your interest, but sale closed.
