first of all, sorry for my poor english, I`m spanish.

Some guy give me the last week a '82 toyota celica, TA 60 model, with an 2TB engine, 1.6 with two carbs.

the engine has a problem with the starter, it`s impossible to find parts here, only in the toyota service.

but the big problem with this car is that this model wasn`t import in Spain, my car was import 15 years ago from France.

well, I know that it`s a old car and I would need to spend (waste) some money, but I`m mechanic and I have a few cars in these moments, so I know how to rebuild and come alive a car.

well, the guy who gives me the car said me the it`s possible to make a swap with other engines.

if you can give me some general information about the car, and of course, performance, swaps, (which engine) and give me some links with "toyota parts shop online", I will be so glad with all of you.
