i have a nail in my tyre for a new d4d yaris .. on the space saver tyre there was a label attached:

"Should you have a puncture, dont worry we will be pleased to carry out a repair, if it can be repaired, completely free of charge at your local toyota centre"

Is this really true?

It certainly is, providing the tyre is legally repairable your local Toyota dealer should carry out the repair free of charge.
