Hi i'm just new to this forum but was wondering if any one can help me. I just bought a 99 Toyota Hilux ute 3L diesel and was wondering if I could put the turbo off my 2LT engine onto my new ute. does any one know? and better still can they give me some tips. i was told i would have to change the bottom end bearings and also put a new head gasket in. would that be right? would my turbo just bolt straight over or would i need some kind of adapter. if any one can help i would really appreciate it.

Foe the money/effort it would be easier to just stick ina 1UZ-FE. V8
