Very rarely mentioned in Corolla Section ,so being fairly rare now I wondered if it would be considered a Classic

definately a classic in my eyes!

My dad had two of them in a row, then up graded to some more powerful motors.

But always had a soft spot for them.

Saw the pics before of yours and it looks like a minter, well done :thumbsup:
Mr KE70
I consider in this shape the AE92 (GTi) is defo becoming a classic but this particular one not yet !!!
Sorry !!! :rolleyes:

Thanks Mate :thumbsup: Much appreciated. She is my 2nd, too. As you read the original post in Corolla, you saw that the few of us who have/have had them rate them highly
If I won the Lotto :yes: I'd love to buy them all & give them a good home :lol:

Something funny/peculiar here ! :unsure:
It is no big deal, as she is a Classic in my totally biased opinion :clap: , but last night , when I checked the poll , there were 4 votes " for" & none against B)
Now, today there are 2" for" & 3 against :(
Not worried as I am just looking for the general opinion, But I can't understand how that happened. :o

Total votes =9
Yes = 2
No = 3
Add in the 4 yes votes that went missing you get
Yes = 6
No = 3

Thanks Mate. I have a broken indicator lens ( in the bumper) . I got a repair kit which got it through its NCT, but I would like to have a sound one on.
If you like to PM me as to where you are , I'll have a think. :thumbsup:
I actually had just sent my spare car to the Scrappers when some :censor: dinked it for me.

17 years young :lol: 130k miles up & going like a sewing machine :thumbsup:
They were never released here. I bought her on e-bay 4 years ago. she had been owned by the one Family up till then. Had her MOT when I got her, but had to get NCT done too :angry:
The examiner congratulated me on her on two occasions B) & the last time , last month, he found a bit of rust in the sills near the rear wheels. Sent me away to get it welded & return unpainted for a visual. Flew through, apart from that.
Keep her garaged , as much as possible, because the sea is only 100 yards down the road. Very nice, but not car friendly.

Definately on the road to becoming a classic, they're a lovely car. Is it an xl or gl model? You should treat it to a nice dose of waxoil to preserve it for as long as possible......

Strange that at 17 it's actually newer than my 'space age' Toyota !!

( I find it strange anyway !)

I like your "Space Age" Toyota. I got my "Classic" serviced before it's NCT. The Garage gave me a list of things that they thought were wrong & would have cost too much to put right. They were wrong :D . Don't know what they were playing at, unless they hoped I'd buy a Hyundai :unsure:
Anyway, the 1st thing I did was to look for Seras on e-bay.
I saw 4 nice ones at a local vintage rally. I got talking to a very nice Chinese / Japanese owner, who reckoned there are about 20 of them in this country :thumbsup:
I was amazed at the price difference on e-bay, between Dealer cars & apparently comparable private sales.
