Hi all just a quick question im buying a levin on saturday and test drove it today the only worry i have is that when driving it changing gear and turning corners the front of the car knocks he has told me that this is the two front ball joints that need to be replaced but my worry is the engine mounts have gone on it, is there any advice any one can give me on how to check for this problem. Help is much appriciated.

engine mounts are fairly easy to spot -

Open the bonnet and grab firm hold of the block ( make sure that the engine isn't red hot though ) , then violently rock the engine backwards and forwards. You'll hear it knock if it's that !

If this is the case have you any idea of how much this will cost to be replaced cheers for the reply also
