i just bought a 1990 truck with a 3vz-e. befor i bought it the guy blew a headgaskit and hidrolocked the motor. he had the headgaskits done and says the heads were checked. but it wont start. i have pulled the timming cover and checked the cam and crank timming and pulled the cap to make sure it was right. i have spark, i have fuel presure, and injector puls. but no start finly i checked compression yesterday. I have 140psi @ 4rotatons on 2,4,6 but nothing on 1,3,5. my gage dosent even move. there is no pressur at all. can anyone give me an idea maybe a nother test i can do before i go pulling the head, i would like to do a leakdown test to see where its going but i dont have a tester

sounds like he didnt do the gaskets. hydrolocking can do damage to rings also so keep that in mind i hydro locked a 22r and busted two comp rings. i say if its a woods machine pull the 3vze out and toss in a propane injected 4.3 gm it ran me bout 1300 all done if its in good shape and going to be a daily and u have time pull the heads of and see for yourself. best of luck to ya
