My 'open door' indicator on my dash board keeps flashing and I can not use my remote any more to lock the car. I have to use the key because the alarm will come on during the day juat as soon as the indicaotr flashes. i am told that it is the boot lock either sticking???? or needs replacing???? is this easy to do or doea it just need lubricating ....how do I go about this please???

, but I have had a somewhat similar problem recently.
My car is a Corolla liftback. The door open warning light comes on once I get over 60mph, & stays on steadily.
I'm pretty sure it is the liftback. I have checked it & it is seating firmly, no movement. Start off again & the light is off till I get to 60.
Not doing any harm, but annoying
