can anyone help

i need to find out how to disconnect the driveshafts on my 1990 h reg toyota corolla gti as i need to change the engine on it and the haynes manual doesnt go into much detail when it comes to disconnecting them from engine.

any help would be very much apreciated.

just knock out from the gearbox. the easiest way ive found is disconect the bottom ball joint from the lower arm (remove the two nuts and one bolt from each side, under the lower arm) then grab the brake disc and give a good tug tward you should just pull out
