Rev Bootlid/spoiler On A Rev1 Car

Recommended Posts

Ok... the aerial on the rev1 goes through the side bits of the rev1 spoiler.

Now if these are taken off etc then the aerial will obviously be higher than the car, ie not flush like it is just now.

I'm putting a rev3 bootlid/spoiler onto my 2 and eventually getting a different spoiler to replace the rev3 one.

How do I get it to sit flush with the body of the car ? Do I actually have to buy an aerial from a rev3 ?

can do .. Or how about buy an ariel from Maplin that is a long wire .. wrap it under the carpet in the boot and have the hole filled and flushed while it's at the body shop ??

oooh... good idea !

Although Matt has just emailed me to say they have a rev3 aerial if I want it. So I will most probably go ahead and do that.
