Does anyone have any ideas why my VSC/TRC light should be on constantly whilst at exactly the same time my speedo has ceased to work please? Do they share a common fuse?

VSC/TRC need speed signal to work... the speed is obviously signal lost. You need to check if there are any bad connections in the speed signal path, and maybe check speed sensors on all wheels.

Can you alter your profile to give more info on what model you have.

We do get occasional problems with speed sensors. On a 4.2 it is on the gearbox and is easily sorted with a quick squirt of WD40. 4.3s are on each wheel and a bit more complicated.........
