Just had a phone call to say my iQ2 wil be delivered to my house on Thursday, the transporter is leaving Newcastle at 6:00am and I don't know how many other cars they are dropping off between there and me in Cornwall so no timescale given.

I cannot wait!!

Good luck

SWMBO bought a Fiat Multipla once, we had umpteen delivery dates and on one, the transporter arrived at the dealership with our car on top. Something went wrong with the hydraulics on the transporter and it wouldn't lower.

Transporter and car then returned to somewhere North of very far away from London for repair and we got it a few days later.

But that was a Fiat

Well I got it at last!!!!

After driving around in an S-Type Jag for the last ..... ages... I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I love it. Went for a long drive last night around some very windy roads (Torpoint twisties, well known in the biking fraternity) it is such a fun little car, I don't think i will miss the Jag at all. I drove to work the long way this morning 25 miles compared to my normal 7 miles and was getting 58.8mpg, for a car with only 60 mile on the clock i think that is brillaint and am sure it can only improve as things loosen up after a few miles.

I could go on and on about how much ilike this little fellow already but you all know what I mean so I'll shut up now!

Happy motoring People!!

ps Pictures to follow.
