Exhaust Heat Shield

Managed to post on the Avensis forum after doing a search on toc by mistake. The shield before the centrally located has come loose as the front bracket is now wandering up and down the pipe and making a rattling noise as it vibrates. The bracket by the box is only secured in one of the two places. It was hanging at an angle below the pipe , is it there to protect the bodywork or the grass from the heat? I suspect the former as it seems to fit better. Looks like a trip for a couple of brackets from Mr T. I think it's been like this for some time as I've heard the (what I thought could be an expensive ie cat ) rattle before.

I'm sure the MR2 owners on here have similar problem. They cure it with a couple of modified jubilee clips.
