Trade In Price

Hi all,

I stopped by my local dealer yesterday to see if they had any gen 3 Prius in, unfortunatly they only had a white demonstrator so I couldn't check any other colour. While I was there I had a long chat with the salesman and he showed me the different colours on their magic screen which lets you look at the different colours and from different angles. I took the opportunity to get an upgrade price for my 08 TSpirit, ( 16000 MILES ) for the new gen 3 TSpirit. They offered me £13,000 for mine so the upgrade price would be £8,600. Does this sound right to anyone that might have upgraded ? I am not sure of the second hand prices for the Prius. Would I be better off selling it privately ?

P.S. The delivery date that they gave me for a white or Novus grey was 1-2 weeks.
