Rear Shock Problems

Hi guys,

I purchased a set of Gmax 40mm lowering springs and me and a mate were supposed to be fitting them yesterday. All was going well and the front springs were a doddle. Then we started on the back. We removed both rear struts. When we came to look at one of them it was really rusty. We tried everything to undo the nut on the top and snapped about 3 allen keys in the process. To cut it short we ended up ruining the thread on the top of the strut by trying to grip it with mole grips, so hence i need a new one. I have been trying to find one online and can't seem to do so. Any ideas where to get some from, as I now have 40mm lowering springs on the front and standards on the back. It looks ridiculous! By the way I have a Corolla 1.6 vvti T2 2002 5dr.

you will only make the mistakes once in your life... next time you will make sure they all undo before fitting one spring... (I talk from experience lol)

In fact if my how to i wrote about DIY fitment of springs was ever stickyed then you might of read it and in that it says to make sure all are loose before changing one spring...oh well you try and help
