Trouble With Your Brakes Anyone?

hi i bought my aygo in dec last year and so far its ben back twice because of the door seals, ive had the air filter housing put back on coz it was loose but recently ive been back with a "knocking" noise or rumble sound and they couldnt find anything but they decided to change my exhaust back box because it was rusty!!! anyone else had this???? well this didnt resolve the problem so i went back and they agreed to book it in for the 4th aug to have a good look at it. Well that aint till next tues but today i got in it, drove it round down my road and this awful sound started! it sounded like my exhaust had fallen off! but it hadnt. It sounded like metal rubbing on metal and it was very loud!! i called toyota and they said get breakdown or recovery out and get them to bring it to us! well i couldnt do that coz i had to go to work! but this eve i drove it and the noise wasnt there but it just sounds like a bag of crap. im thinkin it could be my brakes but they seem to be working fine. has anyone else had this problem???????????

Something like this, about a week ago i was driving along, started slowing for some traffic lights and the exhaust started blaring, pulled over, started reversing to park and i heard grinding, basically the back box had decided to just fall off for no reason and was being held on by a single rubber mount, it had snapped off just where the pipe enters the back box... took it to a garage where they replaced it and now it sounds even worse than when it had no box, the deafening noise has gone but about 4k revs it starts making a weird noise, like rasping, and now when i go round a tight corner it sounds like its touching the car, maybe the suspension?! have no idea whats wrong with it so now looking at getting the whole thing replaced

oh dear!!! well i drove the car today and the noise has gone, called toyota and they said to keep a listen for it but gonna hold out till tues when they have a good look at it. Even tho the sound has gone it drives juz like my old fiat did!!! thats not good
