I realise that this has been covered but I would like your opinions.

I see there are many chips floating on eBay but I not sure what confidence I'd have in them. Are there any that you'd personally suggest?

Would another option be to take the car to an import specialist or is it easily done by someone with 'know-how'?

Thanks :).

Lo

sorry no one responded to your request for info.

I just got a uk clock set of e bayand changed the complete speedo

easy job to do and didnt take long.

my previous clock had a convertor on it for speedo MPH but odometer stilll measured KPH which was nothing but it just bugged me.

UK clocks cost £15.00

my car is an auto and replacement clocks were off a manual but with a bit of tweaking to fittings they went straight in.

just an option to consider.

cheers

keith

Have actually just done this to my st205 today, bought 1 of the eBay chips and connected it to the speed sensor on the top of the gearbox as per the wiring instructions, was a little fiddly to do took about half hour to 45 min but all working as it should and pretty sure it clocks up in miles now 2
