Carina Stuck In France

Hello,

I recently drove my much loved Carina to the French Alps. It made it but after a few days driving up some steep long roads it developed a coolant leak. It appeared to be coming from the water pump area but i couldnt see exactly where. RAC were called and it was taken to a local garage. They told me it was the head gasket and would cost 2000 euros to fix. I called my local toyota garage in england and described what was wrong with the car and they said they'd be suprised if it was the head gasket.

Anyway i am quite attached to my car and would like it back, The RAC have refused to bring it back saying the market value of the car is too low, (they also refused to take it to calais)

Anyone got any suggestions on a cheap way to get my car back?
