Carina Replacement Engine

Hello,

OK, i have a 1995 carina xli and its getting abit tired. I'm considering replacing the engine but as i've never done anything like this before i have no idea how to find out what engine will fit and if i'd need to replace anything else such as the gearbox.

Any advice is welcome

Mate,

for the price you can buy another one of these cars with a much lower mileage, you will have to ask yourself is it worth doing up the one you have now. Save your self the hassle!
